Baltic Herring with Mustard |

Recipe Ingredients |
|
500 – 600 gr Baltic Herring fillets
Marinade:
4 dl water 1 tsp salt 3 tbs spirit vinegar
Sauce:
1 dl mustard 2 – 3 tbs sugar 1 tsp salt 1 tsp ground white pepper 1 ½ dl cooking oil 1 tbs spirit vinegar ½ dl shredded dill

Recipe Cooking and Preparation Method |
|
Soak the Baltic Herring fillets in the marinade for approximately 6 hours. Strain the fillets. Remove the skin if you wish.
Mix together the sauce ingredients and place the fillets into the sauce. Marinade in a cool place for at least one day. |

Food Serving Suggestion |
|
This dish is served cold. Fish dishes should be served as starters for the Christmas meal and served with boiled potatoes. |
